The Club Murder Vacation
The one where A.J. just wants to read his new book.
I have to tell you Gigi didn't seem as interested in this one. It was laid-back. Not any car chases or running. Cecila takes a trip to "Club Meade" and gets upgraded to a suite. She calls to see if the guys want to join her. Rick says no, but without anywork he wants to play and A.J. just wants to read "the new Michener."
Rick's not impressed, he hasn't seen anyone get break in a book like that in years. A.J. replies "As I remember your idea of breaking in a new book was to use it as second base."
Rick tries many tactics, but our favorites were (1) bringing in a pitcher of drinks - "Margaritaville?" and "AJ? Look what I found. This is wanda. Wanda's a beautician. She works out near the airport. and, uh, this is Jolene. Jolene is uh, well, she's unemployed right now, but she wants to be a waitress. and, uh, I'm sorry darling I didn't catch your name. What was that? "Trixie" Yeah, I'll be that's right too." Next scene A.J. joins Cecila at Club Meade.
Yes, I am easily amused.
In case you didn't read the synopsis: A.J. stumbles on a body being disposed. There's corruption and pot. Mom calls Rick to take A.J. off his busman's holiday and Rick ends up helping A.J. crack the case.
This episode marks the second time (of three) we see Rick's cororner friend, Jerry Reiner. Also, Jeannie Wilson isn't in the credits for the first time. It has nothing to do with the fact she wasn't in the episode. To this point all three "also starring" get billing regardless of their appearance.
Trivia:
Someone dislikes accordian players: Rick remembers a vaction in the 5th grade when an accordian player tells him the facts of life. Rick: "The guy had it all wrong too."
Cecilas date (Leo Marx) is happy they plan to have dinner in the room (517). He says he was sick of the accordian player. (in the restaurant)

Quotes:
Cecelia: "Let me make us a drink. I'm famous for my milk punch." A.J. walks out of his room tucking his gun in his pants. Leo: "Was that a gun?" Cecelia: "Yes, I think so. Now for the milk punch."

Jerry asks A.J. if the Padres are going to do well this year. A.J.: "If the bullpen holds up and everyone stays healthy"
--
Rick: "Did you ever know me to have a bad idea?" A.J. just looks at him Don't answer that."
aj: "As much as I am enjoying "My Most Unforgettable Stiff" What do you say we keep these guys from killing us."
Rick: You mean you don't want them to turn us into a crude but hearty table wine?"
Goofs:
A.J. is reading by the pool. At the start of scene he is near the pool in deck chair. There are two couples behind him. Cecelia walks by. ("hours later") He is sitting by tables. The same two couples are there. One is not siting next to him and the others are walking onto the pool area,
