It's Only a Game
The one where the guys take a road trip to Vegas.
The last of the Jerry the Coroner episodes. He gets the guys mixed up in a plot to sell an "ultra large scale integration" chip. Will it go to the "reds?!" The bad guys go after our heroes in the airport, bed, a casino, and Hoover Dam. To escape Rick, A.J. and Jerry hide out in a bordello. OK, Jerry does, but Rick and A.J. pick him up at the Appaloosa Ranch. Well, not really a ranch, just three mobile homes behind a big fence.
Gigi's favorite scene was the one with the ventriloquist and his dummy with a built in hidden machine gun Yeah, Jay Johnson was obviously the go-to guy when a ventriloquist was needed.
In the end A.J. rescues Rick from the bad guys and kisses the girl. We never see Jerry again. "Tough Guy" Logan Clarke will return though.
Look for Hollywood legend Peggy Ryan as the telephone operator Gina. She had retired to Las Vegas. What a crazy place to do that.
What has happened to Marlowe? We haven't seen Rick's dog lately. Or Myron and Janet.
Quotes:
A.J. "We need a small clerical favor."
Gina: "I don't any priests"
Gina; (on the Appaloosa Ranch) "The guests spend more time in the bunk house than out on the range"
Arnie: "The most dazzling effects from this show come from a different breed of solid state."
Johnny: "What do you want from plywood?. Richard Pryor?"

Rick must be a Yankees fan. He suggests to the bad guys they remember when they were kids and would trade baseball cards. He tells them they're sitting on Whitey Ford and A.J. and Jerry are looking at Mickey Mantle.
