Three Days
I'm not sure what they're teaching my daughter in pre-kindergarden. On Wednesday she brought me one of her beautiful drawings. She just handed it to me and said she had plenty and I needed one for my desk.
On Thursday she again brought me a drawing, but she told me I'd have to give her "two tickets" for it. I told her I had no tickets and couldn't afford her drawing.
On Friday she stopped by my desk and gave me two tickets. A few minutes later she brought me another drawing and I handed her the tickets.
On my desk cork board I now have three drawings in her "Economic Series." First, Communism where I was given according to my need by she according to her ability. Beside it is Capitalism -- on loan from my wife who had tickets. Finally, this triptych ends with Socialism, where the state subsidized my art purchase.
