Richard Pryor 1940 - 2005

Richard Pryor's last tribute was called "I Ain't Dead Yet, M*therf@ck%r!."

For my generation he and Lenny Bruce proved comedy didn't have to be safe. We could laugh at those things that anger, hurt and scare us. And, in doing so, remove the power they exert. With MS he wasn't able to perform most of the last years of his life. We missed the comedy films and concerts a mature Richard Pryor could have made. He is dead now m*therf@ck%r and that's our loss.
